Angie and Mike

We first met in 2000 at the University of Arizona when Mike decided to pledge the business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. Angie was already a member and volunteered to take a "little bro" under her wing. This is a coed fraternity and pledges are "matched" to a corresponding big bro of the opposite sex by members of the fraternity based on like interests.

Oddly enough, Angie was selected to be Mike's "big bro" to help usher him through the pledge process. It may not have been anything more than the fact that we were both tall and athletic! He needed her help though, as he was continually getting into trouble with the fraternity and not taking it seriously! She stuck up for him and he made it through!

Our friendship grew and we started dating shortly thereafter!
